Union Hotel Port

Hotel stuff was always very polite and helped us with the luggage. Their service is available 24h in case you need anything in the middle of the night. Whenever we came back to the hotel from the city they offered us a cup of tea or coffee and even brought it to our room. Sam also gave us his own Istanbul city card to use for trains and his umbrella because it was raining. We have often exchanged money at the reception and the exchange rate was correct. When my partner had a sudden health problem and had to go to the emergency, they helped us, recommended the hospital, called a taxi for us and offered to assist us through the process as we don't speak Turkish. They can all speak English very well, and one older staff member even spoke German. This hotel is definitely worth your money and we can most sincerely recommend it. Sam we love you ♡

This hotel has a perfect location because of the tram, which is 1 min to walk to. Taksim, Galataport and Tophane are also a few walking minutes away. If you want to see the asian side, there is also Kabatas Port 1 station with the tram, to take the ferry from there. The housekeeping was very good, very clean rooms. The hotel also offers free tea and coffee service. Our highlight was the hotel staff. Especially ATI & SAM were very caring. They are very talkative, helpful and you can always ask them for suggestions during your stay. Sam offered us literally evertime coffee and tea when he saw us in the lobby, which is also very cosy.

The staff is very friendly and professional. They were welcoming and chatty. They often offered me Tea or Coffee every time I left the hotel in the morning, and even at night when I came back. They even gave me a nice small souvenir when I checked out. There are some constructions around the hotel so you might not get the best view, but the location itself is GREAT. It's only a few minutes walk from Kabataş station where you can take a direct tram to Taksim, or the T1 tram which takes you west to popular tourist attractions such as Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, and Grand Bazaar. The snack bar is relatively cheap compared to the other hotels I've been to.

Everything was the best . I experienced a warm and friendly welcoming at the first sight , they said: welcome to your new home and it was really like home till the rest of our stay. That was the reason that we add nights for 2 another weeks. Apart from good stay experience, the location of the hotel was perfect 🤩 you can easily access to train ,ferries and bus station. If you dont like to stay in hotels with a crowded nights life in taksim sq ,union hotel will be best for you ; it has a calm location and just 10 minutes walk to taksim sq or get in funicular which is a better way to go there. Every person who works there try to help and do they best for guest to solve the problems and good staying. they were lovely and really nice 😍. I wont forget their help during that stressful momments i had for my exam . Thank you jalal bey, atik bey , sam bey , maryam hanim , ardalan bey , mohammad bey and the owner of the hotel and his lovely wife. I’m really appreciate all of you .

staff is just amazing!)))guys are killing with their hospitality and smiles 😀Atek is top 😎so if even there’s anything u wish to comment on -u can’t ))) For city view lovers - forget it, coz there’s construction near by , but other things all cool)) even if u wanna ask for anything , great staff will find u solution 🤞😀
